Using Gravity Sketch for my design development process.
MicroMacro was an investigation of woven structures and yarn combination with the aim of producing innovative fabrics that could be integrated within technical textiles for sportswear, vehicle design and architectural textiles. I focused on the development of aspects such as plasticising, cushioning and articulation in woven fabrics. I explored varying geometric shapes and scales to create fabrics that articulate and move according to the geometry. The result is a series of experimental material developments.
